These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NaviWeather mobile application ("App"), developed by Laurenz Frank ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
NaviWeather is a route-planning application that provides weather information along driving routes. The App analyzes conditions such as rain, snow, freezing temperatures, sun glare, daylight, and traffic to help you choose optimal departure times.
The App is available for iOS devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using NaviWeather, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
NaviWeather does not require account creation. The App functions without registration, login, or any form of user identification.
NaviWeather offers a free tier that includes up to 3 route calculations per month, access to all 5 weather gauges, the route weather map, and the waypoint timeline. The free route allowance resets at the beginning of each calendar month.
NaviWeather Premium unlocks unlimited route calculations, departure time analysis, alternative route comparison, and saved favorite routes. Premium is available as:
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notice of the change. Your continued use of the Premium subscription after the price change constitutes your agreement to the new price.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:
NaviWeather provides weather and route information for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for your own judgment as a driver.
The App relies on third-party services for core functionality:
We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or performance. These services may have their own terms and conditions that apply to their use.
All content, design, graphics, code, and other materials in the App are owned by or licensed to Laurenz Frank and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
The 3D clay render illustrations used in the App and on the website are original works and may not be reproduced without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laurenz Frank from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Never use NaviWeather while actively driving. Plan your route before you start your journey. You are solely responsible for your driving decisions and road safety.
NaviWeather is designed as a pre-trip planning tool. We strongly advise against interacting with the App while operating a vehicle. Always comply with local traffic laws regarding mobile device use while driving.
You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
If you have an active Premium subscription, cancellation of the subscription must be done through your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
We may, at our discretion, require you to update to a newer version of the App to continue using it. This mechanism ensures compatibility, security, and access to the latest features. If a required update is available, the App will display a notice and may restrict functionality until the update is installed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
As the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence to the extent required.
